I’ve been always asking myself how all this amazing vegan dishes taste. It is easy to find a vegan chocolate cake or variations of veggie balls and even vegan cheesecake – and all they are really tasty. You don’t need to be vegan, just give it a try and will love the dishes.
Months ago I changed my whole milk with a almond one, and you know what, my tea is still so aromatic and tasty. Lately I even changed my daily yogurt with a vegan one, why not, and my breakfast is even healthier. Easy to replace it in the drink for sure, but few days ago I wanted to make my moms recipe for a walnut and apple traybake, and realised there were no eggs in the fridge and only my almond yogurt. So this was perfect moment to prepare something vegan – a vegan dessert, and guest what well it’s so yummy. If you still haven’t try vegan dish at home, try in now.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of vegan yogurt
- 30 ml olive oil
- 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
- chopped walnuts and almonds
- 2 apples
- lemon pill
Preparation:
Mix the flour with the baking soda in a big bowl , then add the sugar. Slowly add the yogurt and the olive oil while stirring. Once you have a well mixed dough cut the apples into small pieces and add them to the dough. At the end put the greated lemon pill and the chopped nuts. Put the dough in a baking pan covered with baking paper. Sprinkle sone of the chopped nuts on the top as a garnish. Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 min at 180°. Once the dessert is ready chilled for few min and serve. Easy and vegan!
