Walnuts biscuit balls

Looking for something easy and fast dessert, try this yummy small sweets. I was looking for inspiration in cooking magazines and blogs and then found my inspiration in an old leather book full of recipes- my mom’s cooking book. Do you have a dessert that reminds you of your childhood, asking your mom how to make and what to do? A dessert that you can’t wait to be ready and just want to eat as quickly as possible. Well this are my childhood sweets that I couldn’t stop eating. Waiting for you comments to share dessert which is memorable for you.

  • 500g biscuits
  • 150g sugar
  • 2tsp cacao
  • 2 eggs
  • 175g butter
  • 150g walnuts
  • 2-3tsp strawberry jam

Grate the walnuts well or you can buy already grated, put in a deep plate and leave on a side. Grind the biscuits or crumble with hands add the sugar and the cacao. If you decide to use really sweet biscuits then you can reduce the sugar. If your “dough” isn’t sweet enough you can always add more sugar as you prefer. After that add the eggs and the butter and mix all the ingredients well with a big spoon or hands.

Once you are done grab one spoon of the dough and make a ball. Cover every ball with walnuts and put in a flat plate.

When ready with all the dough make a small hole in every ball and fill in with strawberry jam. Keep refrigerated one hour.
